Workshop 2016
This year’s Compass Workshop — the first of its kind — took place at Princeton University on February 6th and 7th. The workshop featured six discussion sessions over the course of two days, led by graduate students, on recent papers in a variety of sub-disciplines within philosophy. The readings that were selected for discussion this year are listed below.
In addition to discussion sessions, the workshop featured two advice sessions with female faculty mentors on the following topics: “Thinking about Graduate School?” and “How to Get the Most Out of Your Academic Experience”. This year’s workshop was part of a coordinated series of similar workshops that will take place at various departments across the country beginning next year. |
